Disney's Wilderness Lodge

With its enormous entrance area, rustic setting, and showcase pool, the Disney Wilderness Lodge is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Walt Disney World Resort. The lodge is styled to evoke the atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest, and includes both natural and Native American elements. It features a spectacular pool area with a water slide, a white-sandy beach, and a working geyser behind the pool that erupts each hour at the top of the hour. The resort includes two table service restaurants, Artist Point and Whispering Canyon Cafe.

	This lakeside resort is modeled after a majestic National Park lodge, towering 7 floors in the main building, and 6 on the wings.
	The pool has a natural style, with a waterfall, hot and cold spas, and a big slide.
	A stream flows right through the lobby, outside over a cascading waterfall, and into the wonderful swimming pool area below.
	Swoosh! The pool is loads of fun, and safely guarded by lifeguards. Inside the Cub's Den is available to watch ages 4-12.
	Take a ferry boat ride over to Ft. Wilderness Campground, or to the Contemporary Hotel, from the dock at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The dock is located just beyond the pool area, on Bay Lake.

Children's Favorite Orlando Hotel

Wow, were we ever impressed by a cozy woodland motel, with the natural beauty and the appeal of the Rocky Mountains, right here in Orlando Florida. Our central Florida vacation could not have been any better, and you can ask my children! The hotel was perfect, with native american art and tall timber.
